For every #ThisIsMyEra 90-planner sold, we donate funds to make education accessible to children in Africa through our partnership with World Vision.
Co-founders Ruth and Kuda Biza both grew up in Africa. They saw first-hand the lack of access to education and school supplies to many children and wanted to do something to help.
They are children that are already struggling at home to get a meal and school fees, so helping to provide funding for school and educational resources to them makes a big difference.
In the words of Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.”
Our Partnership with World Vision
We’ve partnered with World Vision, a non-profit humanitarian aid, development, and advocacy organization that establishes infrastructures that help others expand their efforts in giving back while helping to tackle issues that cause poverty.
#ThisIsMyEra x World Vision Education Fund
For every #ThisIsMyEra 90-day planner that is sold, #ThisIsMyEra will be donating 4% to the World Vision Education Fund.
#ThisIsMyEra partnered with World Vision primarily because of their reach. Every year, the organization reaches about 3.5 million children in nearly 100 countries and in remote areas other organizations do not access - areas where help is needed the most.
The United Nation reports that 263 million children worldwide are not enrolled in education.
“Our vision as a brand is that we want to empower people to become the best that they can be so that there could be a better future for the world. “ - Ruth Biza
We want to make our small little dent by helping to provide education to people in need so that that number—263 million—is reduced. We are hoping that our efforts with World Vision will help provide access to education to more children worldwide.
Our Work with the Amani Hope Foundation
Since we formed a partnership with the Amani Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides underprivileged children in Africa with scholarships to attend grade school, we’ve donated over 10,000 school supply kits to underprivileged students. Production of the kits created additional jobs in South Africa, where they were produced.
Our partnership with the Amani Hope Foundation will continue - Your purchase makes an impact.
With Your Help, Our Impact Is Expanding...
In addition to the school supplies kits we donate, we love to support organizations in the U.S. as well.
